Pierre on 1st, pitch out, throw down to 2nd and Pierre stopped, got in a run down, Pedey throws to Gonzo, Gonzo back to Pedey about halfway between 1st and 2nd, Pedey tags Pierre on the back and he's called safe.
We've played target practice with pitchers so much this year, and I can't think of a single time it's resulted in a hit. We've got the absolute most s*** luck on those balls.
RED SOX (30-25)
Ellsbury CF
Pedroia 2B
Gonzalez 1B
Youkilis 3B

Crawford LF
Lowrie SS
Reddick RF
Saltalamacchia C
Pitching: RHP Tim Wakefield (2-1, 4.14)
Thank God JD Drew is out of the line up today. We might actually win. Make it flutter, Shakey Wakey.
Oddly enough, he's got a career .976 OPS in June.
Still. I'd much rather see Reddick than JD Drew out there. I used to defend him, but he's just terrible now.
Crazy - the Mariners are 1/2 of a game back on the Rangers in the West.
Talk about a team you don't want to be faced up against in a 5 game set. Felix + Pineda? That'd be brutal.
At 19-10, we had a very successful May. The new month has turned over, so lets push for another monster month.
I'm predicting a 19-6 record this month.
1/1 vs CHI
2/3 vs OAK
2/3 @ NYY
2/3 @ TOR
2/3 @ TAM
2/3 vs MIL
3/3 vs SD
3/3 @ PIT
2/3 @ PHI
Posting a 19-6 record this month will put us at 49-31, a W% of .613, on pace to win 99.
It all starts today. WIN!!!!!
