That was an absolutely brutal 9th. Between Pap getting squeezed, Tek and Pap letting their emotions get to them (although the ump instigated that s*** with Pap, which was ******** and he'll walk away scotch free), and Pedey's error, that was just an all around terrible inning.
But, they showed a TON of heart. The 9th inning was a complete gut shot to this team. For them to be down by a run in the 11th with 2 outs and roast two back to back doubles off a premier closer in Bailey, that is about as much heart as you can ask for.
Also, Ellsbury and Crawford had 4 hit games, and Gonzo had a 3 hit game. Gonzo is now hitting .340, Crawford is at .244 and could potentially be around .270-.280 by the end of June with another month liek May.
