    Wakefield's knuckleball is rated on fangraphs at -10.7 Runs Above Average. That makes me sick.

    Yup. And his ERA in his past 10 starts going into today was 5.68. Tack on today's outing, and it's enough to wonder WTF this team is thinking keeping him out there. Nice rip, Pedey.

    At least the Yanks are getting thumped too. f***ing Wakefield though. He is so damn awful. And I know, BTR - He's a team HOF'er, but if we're going to be honest, everytime he goes out and lays an egg like this, and this is happening more and more often, it's not doing a lot for how he's going to be remembered. Rather than going out on top, he's beginning to become the guy who never went away. Like the guy in high school who kept coming back to hang out after he graduated.

    I'm so tired of watching Wakefield try time and time again to get his 200th win. He simply is not helping the team win.

    Solid performance from Salty last night. He's now hitting .270/.332/.555/.887 since May 15th (220 PA), with 14 doubles, 2 triples, 13 HR, 39 Runs, and 36 RBI. To put into perspective just how good he's been lately (don't want to ruffle any feathers, I'm just explaining the production we've gotten from him over the past couple months), if he produced that well for a full season, his line would be: .270/.332/.555/.887, 41 Doubles, 38 HR, 105 RBI, 113 Runs. I think that helps explain exactly how good of a player he really has been for us over the past couple of months. Not saying he's ever going to produce to a .890 OPS and 40 HR, but I am extremely happy with his recent production.

    So, by this logic, the Tigers don't like Verlander, either? The Sox always put everyone on waivers, and it seems like every single year people go nuts over the players they throw on there. It's standard practice to add just about everyone to waivers
