    I will say this, though. A lot of times when teams are hitting fastball pitchers well (Weiland, Beckett, Lester), you throw something with a lot of wrinkles, all of a sudden they're thrown off. Wakefield may be exactly what this team needs right now.

    All you're doing is putting more emphasis on the final 25 games than the first 137. You can't say the Sox don't deserve it just because of a bad streak. A horrid streak, sure, but they played the hell out of some baseball for the past few months. Regardless, I have a very good feeling about tomorrow's game for some reason. If the Sox win tomorrow, everything is fine, and I have a strong feeling that they are going to win. We'll see if that feeling really means anything.

    0-8 with RISP tonight. 4-12 with RISP last night. 1-9 with RISP on Thursday. That's 5-29 with RISP in the series. Hitting .172. Can't win games like that. Completely gave this one away. Lost by a wild pitch and the inability to hit with RISP. Absolutely pathetic.

    I really hope that Wakefield comes out and does what, apparently, none of our other SP can do, and that's hold the Rays to 1-2 runs. Lester looks just about the worst I've ever seen him. Can't find the strike zone to save his life, and insanely inconsistent. Pathetic outing from him. Second time in a row we needed him to step up and put this team on his back, and it's the 2nd time in a row he's completely s*** the bed.

    Should not have let Reddick hit again. Should have PH for him and gone with Conor Jackson or even Darnell. Darnell at least feasts on fastballs, which is all Moore was throwing. But, Francona was either lazy or wasn't thinking.
