Ugh. Cody Ross should not be playing against RHP. If he's not K'ing (34% of time vs RHP), he's grounding out. Iglesias seems like such a simple fix. There's gotta be something that the Sox brass see that we don't. It's likely his hitting, but he's shown great strides and could definitely continue those strides on the fly.

Doubie good for 2 more unless he gets a couple 10 pitch innings. Then he'll be good for 3 more. He's got about 30 more pitches in the tank.

If we're going to have someone replace DMac, we don't need to spend money on the guy. Iglesias to SS, Aviles to LF. Ross/Sweeney platoon in RF. If you ask me, it should be an easy decision for the FO.

Doubront at 63 pitches through 4. Just barely over that 15 pitch per inning that he needs to be at to get through 7 at 105. He's in good shape.
