    Definitely agree. I wasn't saying they should have brought in Miller to face Reyes last inning, to be clear. I'm just saying Aceves isn't good enough to merit not playing match ups.

    And for the love of God, if you don't have a shut down closer, play the f***ing match ups in the 9th. Why the hell do you play lefty on lefty, righty on righty in the 7th and 8th, but then just go with Aceves in the 9th?? You don't. You go with Aceves vs RHH, and Miller vs LHH.

    No joke. Just be within 4-5 games by the ASB. And by the way, Cafardo tweeted out today "The Red Sox can't even bring up the OF'er they want (Kalish) because they have to wait 10 days after they activated him (last Saturday)." Sounds a lot to me like he'll be activated next Tuesday. That's when Ross is supposed to be activated as well.
