Rumours flying round than John Henry is just brokering the deal for Bob Diamond. Bob Diamond the current President of Barclays He's not got any personal wealth according for Forbes, so why would a bank be buying a football club? or is John Henry brokering a deal for Bob Diamond who is brokering a deal for somebody else? Technically its a conflict of interest seeing as the bank he heads is the main sponsor of the league As usual rules will have to be changed for LFC

A very important point that seems to be being overlooked is the fact that the present owners have decided not to sell. The statements about a deal with JH being made by the 'Board' are no more than a PR stunt. JH has indeed issued a statement saying he is interested in buying LFC, but until the owners decide to sell this is all pie in the sky talk
