    Just saw this Last time RedSox faced the BlueJays at Fenway Park on July 4th was 1977. Sox hit 8 homers: Lynn (2), Rice, Yaz, Scott (2), Hobson, Carbo.

    Red Sox SS Jose Iglesias left Sunday's game against Yankee Triple-A affiliate Scranton/Wilkes-Barre after being hit in the helmet by an Andrew Brackman fastball. Iglesias immediately hit the dirt and stayed there for a few minutes, but was able to walk off under his own power. Preliminary testing was encouraging, and it looks like Iglesias avoided serious injury. The top prospect will return to the majors when rosters expand in September, if not before then.
