    I couldnt agree more with what you're saying. This isn't a well built team, and Ben needs to relize he didnt do a good job this off-season and see if he can fix it before there is no hope at all this year. This squad has no power, no speed and no timely hitting ability. That's a recipe for the first choice in the draft, not defending a championship. I'm certain all of our grandmothers could have put together a better team than this.

    I think if the Red Sox stay in the race up until the trade deadline, they'll be looking for a fix to our center-field problems outside of the Red Sox system: if there is one out there. The Red Sox really dug themselves into a big hole this off season when they didn't get a sure backup for Bradley. Thinking you can replace the productiveness of Elsbury with a rookie and a guy who hasn't played in two years was being foolish.
