  1. I hate the Hanigan signing. I don't see what he brings to the table.
  2. He goes yard here. Calling it.
  3. Can we just score at least one tonight?
  4. Porcello pitched like he is, a number 4 starter. Time to start hitting.
  5. The bats need to come alive. You don't need to do much against this Phillies team.
  6. Luckily they're not paying him for his bat.
  7. Let's see what our new pitcher can do.
  8. Let's get another W
  9. Welcome back to Boston!
  10. I have a man crush for Nap
  11. I don't know if Buchholtz is this good, or the Phillies are that bad....
  12. What's their lineup? Do you know?
  13. I feel like the National League always has the advantage in these games, when played at their parks. Their lineup is built for playing with a pitcher hitting, the American League teams aren't. Although, the Red Sox may not have it too bad. They have a pretty deep bench with the surplus of outfielders they have.
  14. Thank God! Baseball is back!
  15. Yeah, he's a good player, when he's healthy; like you said. But, he hasn't been healthy in 3 years. What makes you think a 35 year old player is going to all of a sudden become healthy after not, in such a long time? Granted, Middlebrooks is kind of in the same situation. But he is also a hell of a lot younger. The upside is a lot more than a 35 year old catcher who hasn't had a good season in three years.
  16. That's one way to put it.
  17. Apparently, the Rays are about to get ready to trade Will Myers to the San Diego Padres. The division is getting weaker and weaker by the day.
  18. I am giving the Red Sox the benefit of the doubt. Who would have thought the Red Sox would have won it all two years ago with the team that was put together?
  19. Anthony Varvaro doesn't seem like a bad pickup. He had an ERA under 3 last season.
  20. Was thinking the same thing. He only went for four-year, $55 million.
  21. He wouldn't get you much solo. But, if you package him with a good prospect or two. You might be able to get something.
