    It should be Bobby, but from the start of spring training, it sounds like Cherington is the one wearing the pants.

    That could be an option. I like his numbers down in the Minors, but I would have a backup just in case he doesn’t translate to the bigs.

    The average for the past two seasons for Loney is .183. Overbay's is .377.

    Delmon Young is someone I just through in there because there isn't much in free agency. I don't like Loney over Overbay. Overbay's average BA the past couple season is .289, Loney's .256. Although that is only a difference of .33, I will take the better BA considering they both have no power.

    How about this line-up. It isn't very powerful, but all their BA's in the last couple years have been pretty good. 1. Jacoby Ellsbury CF 2. Dustin Pedroia 2B 3. Pedro Ciriaco SS 4. Cody Ross RF 5. David Ortiz DH 6. Will Middlebrooks 3B 7. Lyle Overbay 1B 8. David Ross C 9. Delmon Young LF

    They haven’t played well against these teams this year. That and the last time they went to Oakland and Seattle, Boston didn’t look too good. I’m not looking forward to this road trip.

    Wouldn't it be funny if this team starts to go on a run without the three guys they just traded?

    Just answer this. If we let David walk, who is going to replace him? Look at the free agents. Everyone who has played DH is old and hasn’t been as productive as Ortiz. Also, I haven't heard a word out of Ortiz. He hasn't been in one of these controversy.

    I agree. I don’t know why people think that he is coming back. Why would you come back to play for Bobby; a guy who you hate. I don’t think Bobby is going anywhere, either. Moving these players to me conforms that they think the players are the problem, not the manager. They blamed the manager last year and that didn’t work. So, it’s about time they held the players accountable for a bad season.
