    You guys will never find ways to stop fighting on the forum. We just went through a terrible season, offseason means they'll be a lot of fights. Wait until we win a WS, they'll be nothing to fight about for a good 3 months.

    I can't seem to find anything on my phone, but does anyone know the success rate for pitchers after TJS? Edit: When I mean success, I mean played better then they did before the surgery.

    Ohhh politics, not a fun topic to discuss haha. Thanks a lot for the information, the more books the better. Hopefully Barnes and Nobles has at least 1 of them available, since they don't have the book a700 referred to me. I did read that he was a skilled fisherman somewhere before, never knew he was employed by Sears though. As of right now, I'm pretty excited to write this research paper.

    Yeah, I was going to try Barnes & Nobles and other libraries before buying it online. The shipping is ridiculous for Amazon.

    I have a research paper for my English class, and I decided to do it on Ted Williams. He told us to pick a very broad topic and to narrow it down as much as possible. Of course I chose baseball, and ended up with Ted. I'm not really familiar with the Red Sox history but I do know that he was one hell of a player. I found Ted interesting because not only was he a great baseball player, but he also served in the military. I know a lot of members on the site know their history(I'm looking at you Spitball and a700), so I was hoping you guys can give me legit online sources for my research. I should also add one of my resources needs to be a book, so if you can recommend me a book that is both 1)interesting to read 2)will help me with my research paper, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance everyone.

    Just make sure you sign on a few mins before. You won't be the first one but you'll be in the virtual waiting room. I was able to get good seats last year but for some reason my debit card wasn't working. I hope to god this doesn't happen again.

    It depends on how much I save doing the group tickets. Now that I think about it, it'd be pretty cool to sit next to everyone with talksox name tags It's always been my dream to go to Fenway, and since it's coming out of my wallet I'd like to be a good one. I'd like to go big or not go at all. Meaning really good seats and against our rivals, the Yankees.(group tickets aren't available). It's already hard enough for me to go alone with my schedule, in order for this to work, everyone needs to be on the same page which is pretty hard.

    Monster and Yankees random drawings is now available, if anyone is interested. I'm hoping I get lucky again and get the chance to get them early. I'm looking into the July series on the 19-21. Does anyone else plan on going to that series? If so, I'd like to have seats next a member on the board(I'm looking right at you Forsyth and Palodios ) unless you guys find it weird.
