  1. http://espn.go.com/new-york/mlb/story/_/id/8980685/curtis-granderson-new-york-yankees-breaks-forearm-may Not sure if Jacko hasn't posted this because he's crying or because it's not a Sox player. He's a Yankee so he'll be back in 10 days instead of 10 weeks and ready for opening day. He'll gain 3x more power and crush the HR record.
  2. Score more runs than the opponent.
  3. f*** the Wizards man. I knew after the 3rd we were going to lose.
  4. We've been good "on paper" for years. Enough with the poor performace from this team, there needs to be some improvement. Last year was unacceptable.
  5. No, I wouldn't be able to be consistent with the league. School and work is all I'm trying to worry about now. Besides, it's basically giving away 20 bucks, since I'm not going to win.
  6. Changing an avatar won't do anything. Hit em' where it hurts, with the temp ban.
  7. Especially with the Babe Ruth situation. In your opinion, what were the chances he would have went to the Yankees? That's assuming he never got the job with Sears. He did love Boston, but his passion for baseball overall was much higher.
  8. Had Ted Williams not signed the contract for Sears, do you think he would have took the job to be a pinch hitter for the Yankees? The contract for Sears was worth 100,000 per year. Enough to keep him away from baseball. Can you imagine the disaster that would have been? All the years he played with the Red Sox just to end it all by playing with the devils?
  9. Loved every bit of those blocks, and so did Skip Bayless. First take is a much watch tomorrow.
  10. Lmao can't wait, popcorn is a must.
  11. Yeah, but I don't see why you're surprised. Every year poor 3 point shooters attempt a 3. Howard just made one not too long ago. Bosh has looked like a fool on both ends tonight.
  12. Ellsbury? I don't think so.
  13. Lmao, J_E is hilarious when he rants. I'm going to start pissing you off just so you can rant.
  14. The creativity of that dunk was definitely good.
  15. I got the west this year. They're gonna score a shitload of points.
  16. Why I hate the dunk contest is how they made it a joke. You know the history of the dunk contest, many of the greatest basketball players have entered the dunk contest. MJ, DR. J, Wilkins, etc. They put these scrub ass, no name players in the competition with some weak ass dunks. I'm talking about dunks kids can do on a little tikes hoops. It's absolutely embrassing and a disgrace what they did to this crap. And LeBron should be in the dunk contest. Not because he's a great player but because of all the teasing he has done. I mean come on now, you say you're going to enter the dunk contest, then bail? Then you tease with a tweet that says "dunk contest?". My problem with him not being in the dunk contest is because of the way he keeps trying to hype it up. Either get in it or simply shut the f*** up. He could elevate the slam dunk contest again, it's getting worse and worse every year. I honestly rather them take it out completely then this crap.
  17. Only worthy dunk he had, was the dunk he paid respect for Vince Carter. I didn't watch it either since I was working, just saw highlights. Edit: take the back, the 360 behind the back was also pretty cool.
  18. The king coming clutch!! Edit: And I'll never use wikipedia for a research paper ever, lol.
  19. I'd like to thank Spitball for recommending the book "Ted Williams: The Biography of an American Hero". It's really made my research project a breeze. Also a great book to read, and that means something if it comes from me. I've read probably a little less than 10 books my whole life. Even though it's pretty obvious, for those who were able to watch Ted Williams play, it must have been a pleasure to watch. I'm putting the finishing touches on one of my paragraphs relating to his baseball career. I wanted to throw in some of his nicknames he earned, but I can't put it in my research paper without citing it. I can not find where the names came from, therefore I can not put it in my research paper. If anyone can help me out with this, I'd appreciate it.
  20. I don't know why anyone expects anything out of the NBA all star weekend. It's been pretty bad the past couple years.
  21. Youk said he was proud to be a Yankee. Proud and Yankee should not be in the same sentence for a former Red Sox player.
  22. "Lol this boy must be crazy" http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv53/sportscardradio/sportscardradio5/2012-13PaniniPrestigeKennethFariedRCCard.jpg
  23. He's definitely over 60, so I'd agree with you on this haha.
  24. This book is great for a research paper. I just wish there was more info of his early life. There's barely any info about his early life online.
