  1. lol Some more good stuff - Jacoby Ellsbury is 10 for 10 on stolen bases in 21 games. He had 14 in 74 games last season. - Lester did not get his 4th win until June 16, last year. He has his 4th win on April 24 this year. - Sox are 9-0 in games started by Lester and Buchholz - Lester and Buchholz combined for an 8-0 record, 1.61 ERA
  2. I like this thread and would like it if it got revived again. On a side note, I really wish ORS would return. 4/24 vs A's, 6-5(W) http://24.media.tumblr.com/7472ed8b9c8f2aec757b1b7d00464cf9/tumblr_mlscewOoaI1qzuh3do1_500.png The good: Even though Lester was off his game, he was able to give up only 3 runs. That's a good sign if that's how he performs on an off day. The A's aren't scrubs when it comes to offense, that's a win to me. The Sox are getting better at RISP, but it could improve. The bad: Uehera. Not concerned about him but his last 2 outings he gave up a HR. Couple of loud outs The ugly: Will Middlebrooks, easy. Not only can he not hit, he can't stop hacking at the first pitch. They need to bench him.
  3. - The team has a better road record(7-2) than home(7-5). I consider this a good thing being that it's harder to win on the road than at home - Lead the AL East by 2 games with a 4 game series coming against the Astros - 7-3 the last 10 games - Napoli leads the league in RBIs with 26 -Only 4 pitchers have 4 wins in the MLB, we have 2 of them.(Buchholz and Lester)
  4. Easily the worst in pitching, below average defense, and average to below average offense. I'd book the series win, no question.
  5. Do you or anyone else know the numbers for pitchers after a no no or perfect game? Usually they tend to suck it up the game right after a no no or perfect hitter. *Looks at Forsyth*
  6. s***** pitchers always seem to have their way against us. Thank god we have Buchholz pitching. This is a series to extend our lead in the AL.
  7. You kidding me? Young again?
  8. Miller needs to make up for his s*** display vs the Royals.
  9. I'll be patient if WMB gets more patient He'll obviously not hit like this all year, but he's got to have some more patience at the plate and not hack at bad pitches.
  10. Lester is frustrated. He needs to calm down and just get this last out. Stay away from that slider though.
  11. Jerry and Don get wayyyyy too fascinated with food.
  12. But but but we needed Papelbon!! We have to overpay even though we have people worthy of closing for much cheaper! Get out of here with that nonsense.
  13. Hate to sound greedy, but I hate the bottom of the lineup.
  14. It's one thing to not hit, but holy s*** have some patience. It's like he gets paid to swing at first pitch, f***ing moron.
  15. Anyone not named WMB hitting, is already an advantage.
  16. That's for yesterday Oakland, you f***s.
  17. They need to PH WMB not Gomes
  18. Our 1-3 hitters haven't hit one yet, have they?
