No man. We need OF and IF. The SP is fine at it is. We need replacement for Cameron, Drew, Ortiz, Martinez, Beltre. Scutaro next year and beyond. Keeping Kalish, Iglesias address at least two of those needs. -

Just pointing out that Ramirez isn't that good. He's better than Delcarmen and Chokijima I'll give you that. Delcarmen just makes you want to puke with his inability to find the strikezone. Of the three guy if two must go, Ramirez is probably the guy they'll keep. Now countdown when Okajima will get DFA. TICK. TOCK. TICK. TOCK

You have to look at the work he does. Low leverage situations are different than high leverage. Ramirez has appeared only in 4 situations where the game is still a save situation in the 9th. Bard has appear in 29 of those high leverage situations.

A better question is why are Delcarmen, Ramirez and Chokijima are still around?
