  1. Nava = AAAA Will NOT be a starter up here.
  2. Bard is finishing the season like s***. But can't totally blame him as Francona been using him as his mule all year. Time to shut him down and let the Okajima, Richardson, Manuel, etc throw their last pitches for the Red Sox.
  3. Nava story ended in chapter 1.
  4. what the heck is Tek doing
  5. This is some slow ass game.
  6. s*** as soon as Tek set that inside I knew it was going to be trouble. Quentin owns Lackey and gotta pitch him away.
  7. I'm liking Victor more and more with him playing better defense. He can absolutely hit and is always good at it. As a contact hitter he fits this team perfectly with Pedey and Youk. 4/45 will be in the neighborhood for his market. SIGN Victor.
  8. Lester 1 win away from 20. it's absurd how little mention he's getting in the CY race. His stats are better than KFC Sabathia.
  9. Has anyone look at his career split off LHP? it's reason enough to find him more playing time next year.
  10. Same clown who held us to 2 run in 6 innings last time? Can they lit up his ass and send him packing?
  11. This game is up to FOX.
  12. RED SOX (85-68) Scutaro 2B Drew RF Martinez C Ortiz DH Beltre 3B Lowrie SS Kalish CF Nava LF Anderson 1B "Lesterrific: The big lefty has two starts left to try and get 20 wins for the first time. He has won his last five starts, posting a 2.12 ERA. Lester is 5-1, 3.63 in 11 career starts against the Yankees, 2-0, 2.95 in three starts this season. He is 5-1, 2.84 in his last 10 starts against the Yankees, the lowest ERA of any pitcher in baseball against the Yankees in that time (min. 45 IP). Power hitters: The two home runs on Friday night gave the Red Sox 201 for the season. The 2010 Sox are the eighth team in franchise history to hit 200. The Red Sox also have 338 doubles, which is tied for eighth-most in team history. The Red Sox are second in the majors in home runs and first in doubles this season." http://www.boston.com/sports/baseball/redsox/extras/extra_bases/?p1=SportsNav_Index_ExtraBases
  13. What Hall has shown is he can be a starter and another team probably feels that way. yes I would retain Hall but unlikely he wants a bench role here.
  14. He's a type B, interesting. His salary this year is 1 million and at best he will get 200K raise or cut by accepting. (not sure how arbitration works for FA accepting)
  15. Or Dice-K pull a Houdini act. Lackey stinks. I would think they have some trade in mind for Dice-K to the NL.
  16. Lester. Better FIP and xFIP Clay's gotta take his strong season and repeat next year. But both would be my 1-2 anyday.
  17. Geez really? http://www.boston.com/sports/baseball/redsox/extras/extra_bases/2010/09/lowell_feeling_2.html
  18. Let's go on a miracle run. Lester leads the way. f*** the yankees
  19. Well I'm glad the feed got cut off so I didn't see this abortion.
  20. Fixing this bullpen is a priority. God damn.
