  1. nvm..... found it on nesn.com
  2. We have Kalish, Iglesias and Doubront hungry for the 2012 season. Might fit Lavarnway in there too as a DH/C. Because Kalish and Doubront exhaust their prospect limit, they're not found in these list. I think all three are very solid additions to the team. They keep the cost down on the payroll. We don't need another starting FAs OF, SS and 5th SP. While the 2010 picks like Ranaudo, and many young guys like Pimentel and Britton are on their way to AA to really start the challenge of better competition. We will have a better picture of their potential. Our system can really shoot it way to the top 10 by 2013.
  3. If he can run why stop him? It's a big part of his game.
  4. Yes, he's still very much a prospect. He spent just 2 month with the team. He's not going to be here with Cameron/McDonald as backup who could play fulltime.
  5. Theo was looking to trade for Bautista. Jays probably have him locked down now with them dumping Wells.
  6. Just made this http://www.gifsoup.com/view1/1805923/pedro-1999-o.gif
  7. Yeah this going to be one stack division going forward. Jays have money and will spend if the players is right and wants to play for them. They have Wells and Rios off their payroll. Those two had about $200M committed.
  8. No. Doubront and Tazawa can start as call up.
  9. His first 4 seasons were ELITE, remember that. It's why he is paid so much when many teams will non-tendered him.
  10. "The Red Sox have reached contract agreement with closer Jonathan Papelbon for $12 million and center fielder Jacoby Ellsbury for $2.4 million, avoiding arbitration with both players." CSNNE.com
  11. Jenks and Wheeler are control through 2012 as well. That's some guys to surround Bard with should he take over. That's probably Theo's plan when those deals signed.
  12. Relievers cashed in when they can. 1 year of him bouncing him back can do that. But I don't expect him here next year. Look at the relief market this winter. Absolutely crazy. Do I want Paps back? It depends on what he demands. He'll get more money and with 3 years commitment. It's difficult to accept when Bard is cost effective for the next 5 years. Then you can use money to get middle relievers to surround him for a lot less than what Paps signed on the dotted line to remain a Sox.
  13. I expect another big season from Bard. He won't have to deal with the work load he had in 2010. The 46 inherited runners he had will be spread to Jenks and Wheeler. His pre-allstar stats (2010): 1.90 ERA 0.82 WHIP (41 appearances), post all-star 1.97 ERA 1.25 WHIP (32 appearances) He allow runs only twice out of 32 appearances last season at Fenway. Paps allowed more runs in several single appearances than Bard at home all season. His career at Fenway: 1.09 ERA 0.81 WHIP (56 appearances)
  14. This might be the final FA compensation draft year. If it is, we''re looking at quite a haul, with 4 picks within the first 50. So the new CBA might only give a sandwhich pick for type A and B eliminated. I find it LOL worthy Soriano is rank higher than Lee as a type A FA. And a bunch of type Bs that makes eyes roll.
  15. wow this thread is old. I think Josh will give us 185IP, 15W 3.80 ERA. THat's a good season.
  16. Looks like they're not touching the RF fences.
  17. Zero. he's declining. His fastball on some days are around 92-93. He can't throw his slider most of the time and his splitter will not save him if hitters lay off. Bard has a better chance if the rotation is open.
  18. What about Jeter, he takes time out to adjust his gloves every pitch. Jeez just glue that s*** on.
  19. Relievers dwindling down to Soriano (unlikely) and Ballfour. Please stay the f*** away from Fuentes. He's garbage.
  20. With a 8 million buy or something. Ouch!
  21. Fat albers... no
  22. The ump.... rolf
