    What bothers me is they keep going after these high risks that flops here. Just roll with Tazawa now. The first thing with relievers is pounding strikes, and have good stuff to back it up. Tazawa has both.

    Amazing, Bailey continues to get injured year after year. I'd like to have him back soon, but how many times is enough with the unstable situation? I hope Tazawa works out and I am confident it will.

    Start with Ellsbury pathetic performance this month which has YET to score a run. He sees two+ pitches average his first 3PA each night, promptly retired on a weak hit ball to second. Nava meanwhile has score as many runs on the season as Ellsbury with 50 less AB, while doesn't have Pedroia, Ortiz and Napoli behind him most night. Ellsbury is making it easy to let him walk.

    Right now I find it difficult to pay him more than 8 figures a season. He has zero power and it doesn't appear it will return. His approach at the plate is not very good either. He hacks at the first or second pitches too much. If he still plays like this I would just take the draft pick and move on.

    He is Jenks 2.0 Way outta shape and a guy who had a lot of issues last season ought to work harder to be in better physical shape. He had some lingering issues throughout his career. Go figure.

    I don't think they're a fluke anymore. Chris Davis has blossom into an all-star 1B. Jones and Machado also are good players too. That's a tough lineup to face. And having an excellent defensive catcher helps too. Our catchers flat out sucks.

    Hanrahan hasn't been here all-season. I wonder if that 5BB/9 last season was the beginning of his fall.

    So much for forsyth telling us this was the soft part of the schedule. You can't predict baseball. Get them tomorrow and we rolled back to our front rotation starters for the weekend.
