    They got Reed to pitch the 8th inning, this lone appearance won't change anything. But I want Farrell to stop being a sitting duck and let a guy pitch to the 4-5th batters without recording a single out.

    Kimbrel was a bit anal when he said he doesn't like 3+ outs appearances. Since then he has not been used in such situation. Workman should be given a crack at the 8th inning. His usage is just confusing. They have no roles for him.

    He has been hitting lower in the order for sometimes now. He hasn't hit a lick either (.195 since Mid July). JBJ is around that too in the same time span. Benni however is hot, and Nunez and Devers are providing the lineup with results while the aforementioned struggles.

    Hosmer has the Fenway stroke to left field. But I wouldn't overpay for a 2-3WAR player.

    Reed isn't exactly lights out. He allows as much hits as inning pitch. But that s*** last night was such a abomination to let him stay in to face Judge. He just didn't have it.

    Xander fits more in the 1-2 hole when things are going well. If he can taps into 20HR power, that is added bonus.
