  1. Honestly, the last few days I've sat at work and said to myself "I wonder if I can find any good new articles about how bad the Heat are today". Also, I'd love to see Tiki Barber on The Albama Vipers-- they'll have a real shot at the ArenaBowl this year with him.
  2. Chase Utley likely having knee surgery. Cardinals, Brewers, and Phillies all have taken some big hits. The NL could be very interesting this year.
  3. It sounds like the doctors are relatively optimistic on this one. He'll be out just a couple of weeks of the season. Broken rib phenomenom.
  4. Does anyone have an article on this? All I can find is arguments between his agent/ his former agent.
  5. The Heat's current collapse is the best thing to happen to Cleveland since...........
  6. I realized no one had created an overall thread for the MLB's spring training. Morneau and Delmon Young finally back in action for the twins. Carpenter has hamstring issues. It has not been a good spring for the Cardinals.
  7. I can't believe how quickly the Celtics deals turned from "complete garbage" and "outright horrible" in my mind to a very prudent move. They traded away 5 guys... 4 of which are currently injured. If they hadn't made the trades, their center right now would be... who exactly? Kr looks like a perfect fit in this team offensively, and they picked up a good deal of size. Murphey looks like a trainwreck on the court, but between the O'Neals and Baby, he shouldn't get much playing time later in the season anyway. Doc keeps saying that he still doesn't know how to use Green, but having him as a major contributer from the bench couldn't hurt.
  8. I've never seen Dojji pwn a discussion like this before. *starts slow clap*
  9. Have you watched any of the stoned press conferences?
  10. Pierce looked downright lazy last season, and Garnett wasn't fully healthy at this point in the season. Then there was a handful of games where they went to post-game press conferences stoned... They just weren't taking the regular season seriously, and it was extremely clear, and they even explicitly said it. Can you say the same thing about the Heat?
  11. He went from 8 in 2009 to 23 in 2010. If he triples his HR total again this year.... Nahhhh.
  12. Hmm... is there a poster on TS who is sleazy enough for this....
  13. Does Manny Ramirez count?
  14. I should have added a smiley or something, because that was definitely a joke haha.
  15. The Celtics second unit is really weak right now. Murphey does not look very good at all.
  16. Big-Z is the Lithuanian equivalent of Scalabrine.
  17. I've been saying that for weeks haha.
  18. Fun fact-- in Cleveland Lebron's team was 61-21. This year, his team is already 43-20.
  19. I can't believe that the Celtics seem to be running away with the East. If the Lakers beat the Spurs in the Western Conference Finals, they could hold home-court advantage throughout the playoffs. And on another note-- I blame this loss solely on the lack of Big Z. He played 13 minutes, and see how much closer it was than the game against the Spurs?
  20. Wow, what a great end to the game. The Heat played some serious defense that 4th quarter, but they just couldn't finish it out at the end of the game.
  21. Not everyone can pitch like Bartolo Colon in spring training
  22. Honestly, 2010 was probably the most fun I've had with a season. They might not have gotten to the playoffs, but damn they never once gave up, no matter how many Darnell McDonalds or Scott Atchisons were on this team, they kept playing despite the holes in the team.
