  1. Here's something interesting. Apparently Beckett was skipping his bullpen between starts last year because of fatigue and pains.
  2. Oh wow, I take it you're not claustrophobic?
  3. Lackey fans are always going to get a welcome here from me!
  4. My family has been big on baseball for years, although I didn't even care till 2003/2004. My father and grandfather would watch every game, and my dad would usually call him after every game. When my grandfather passed away, somehow it worked out that I began to fill the void for my dad. I actually started becoming a huuuge sports fan after living with three gay guys in 2007, and after watching them dress up like women, watch Project Runway, and... well, no one here wants to hear the rest of those details, but the point is I needed an outlet to express some kind of masculinity.
  5. I don't think the Mariners would want Papelbon, but I do believe has still has value at the deadline. Remember how relief-starved the market was last year? He'll be good for a second-tier prospect from someone desperate--moreso if the Sox eat-- and that can be used as filler in a big deal. That being said, the Sox won't go for Felix. They want him like no one's business, but they already sold the farm, and going for Hernandez will either take major league players like Bard/Buch/Lowrie, or cripple their farm system for five years.
  6. Its an odd year. Beckett, its your time to shine.
  7. Vanna, can I get 3 B's and an M?
  8. 2 plate appearances, Lowrie got on base twice. Edit: Pedroia is fine.
  9. Is it just me, or the Rangers chanting "Yankees suck" ?
  10. LOWRIE IS IN! WE'RE SAVED!!
  11. Yeah, when they used that plot device to wipe out most of the starting cast, the show jumped the shark.
  12. It seems like when team's get big leads, they tend to get relaxed, and let up more runs. Seriously, there has to be some kind of psychological reason for it if Cleveland scored 10 yesterday:lol:
  13. Have we seen any member of this pitching staff do well yet?
  14. Nah, breaking two teammate's ribcages.
  15. Young really hasn't had any chance to get used to these pitchers in game situations. Give it a bit of time. Farrell had years with certain players and never figured out how to fix their mechanics.
  16. I never did like Beltre.
  17. DAAAAMNNNN, Lackey looks thin.
  18. Ellsbury is going to have a good year!
