Yankees aren't even hitting on all cylinders and they look unbeatable. Obviously you are never as good as you seem or as bad as you seem, but this team is scary good.
Are you kidding me? Honus Wagner is in a class of his own, but Jeter is clearly Top 5, and could make an argument he's #2, considering guys like A-Rod and Banks spent a majority of their careers away from shortstop.
Who's going to get a significant raise?
Jonathan Papelbon ($6.25M in 2009)
Casey Kotchman ($2.885M in 2009)
Jeremy Hermida ($2.25M in 2009)
Manny Delcarmen ($0.476M in 2009)
Jacoby Ellsbury ($0.4495M in 2009)
Ramon Ramirez ($0.441M in 2009)
Jed Lowrie ($0.414M in 2009)
Clay Buchholz ($0.4135M in 2009)
I just don't see how the arbitration cases are going to bump it up so much to get it close to $170 million.
Does anyone have a spread sheet of the Red Sox payroll? Because I just added up all of 2010's contracts using Cot's and it's not close to the $170 million salary tax threshold.
Both Olney and Rosenthal reporting A's are out of the Beltre sweepstakes. How legit and the O's and Angels? I doubt they are. I they the Sox are his only real option.
If you sign Beltre what is the Sox's line up?
Ellsbury LF
Pedroia 2B
Youkilis 1B
Martinez C
Ortiz DH
Beltre 3B
J.D Drew RF
Cameron CF
Scutaro SS
This seem right?
Every baseball fans should go to Fenway at least once, sometimes its hard to pay attention to the game because all you want to do is look around. With that said, it's not a great place to watch a game. I could see the Red Sox try and get a new ballpark after 2012 (100 year anniversary) though have no idea where they would put it.
God you are sensitive. I didn't say a thing. I posted a link to a video. I was looking at videos on MLB.com and this one came up. I think you need a new tampon.
