    Game looking much better right now. They were pissing me off by the fifth with two hits off Laughable and DiceK looking at a possible loss after the best performance I can remember from him in recent years. This is more like it.

    Laffey does indeed suck but he only has to face Theo's grand prize tonight. Can't wait to see the stats barfed up to polish this inevitable turd. For God's sake I hope this organization at least STARTS to get their s*** together by next season. This has become depressing at this point.

    I see 700's point but I am not expecting Youk to be anything more than a .220-.250 hitter from here on out anyway. We probably get something close to that with Lilibridge. He's gone when Crawford comes back anyway. The pitcher appears to have an upside but I am sure Cherington has the Theo mindset of polishing an apparent turd and making the kid a fixture even if he continues to suck. We'll see, this club can't get enough new blood right now anyway, 2007 was a long time ago.

    I feel bad I missed what was probably Youk's last game. I'm glad he went out on a high note and got some fan love if that's the case though. He had some rough times here as of late but it was never for lack of trying, he really came through for us a lot in the past. Good luck and God bless you Youk.

    I can see that but he's always been a hard thrower. He has definitely upped the gas in this role though. We have been using a lot of guys in roles that they are not used to this year, I'm just worried that we may be to far back and played out when the "cavalry" comes. I can't be as optimistic as some of you are.

    I actually think Aceves's poor pitching as of late is an anomoly. Either that or he is truly one of those guys that just can't accept the title of "closer". He can be brilliant.

    Again, stats are fine just not when used to death in every post. They are too easily cherry picked by guys like you so that no one can argue your point of view without getting a s*** ton more cherry picked stats dumped on them to sort out. If we care, we can hit the keys and go to the site ourselves. Now please just argue with Pumpsie or something. You love to do that.
