Looks like it might be one of those games. -
Well look at it this way, if the yankoffs don't capitalize on the usual 9th inning umpiring help, they lose to the O's and it all washes out.

Maybe it just wasn't in the cards tonight. Would like to see them move out of the basement soon though.

If you actually watched the game you would have seen that the umpire has given those corners to the A's pitcher quite a bit. And he goes from losing the top of the zone to the bottom of the zone in any given inning.

And yeah, take away the crappy calls and Doubie continues to shine.

Salty has to sprawl on a belt high fastball and let this ump take one to the nuts. He must have learned his trade from Joe West and C.B. Bucknor.

Looks like the Rays just lost Longoria for 6-8 weeks with a torn hammy.

Maybe with all the changes to the team/managment, we won't hang on to Punta that long. In the last 5 years we have had a few guys out there that long overstayed their welcome.

WTF? that first "called strike" to AGon was a f***ing ball for Doubrant.

If we don't use K-Zone then they shouldn't show it at all. All it does is show how ridiculously bad umpires are at calling balls and strikes.
