  1. Joba is really struggling this year. I think his last year in the starting rotation really hurt him.
  2. Keane Beaners C Kurt Suzuki 1B Kevin Youkilis 2B Gordon Beckham 3B David Wright SS Derek Jeter RF JD Drew CF Grady Sizemore LF Carlos Lee DH Adam Dunn Lineup 1. Sizemore CF 2. Jeter SS 3. Clay Buchholz 3. Josh Beckett 4. John Lackey 5. Ted Lilly Bullpen LR Wil Ledezma MR Jason Motte MR Jason Frasor SU Scott Downs SU Brad Zeigler CL Jon Papelbon
  3. Ill be his replacement and I will take with the Two next picks. Kevin Youkilis followed by Derek Jeter.
  4. Dipre can't get on here but message me on FB to tell you guys that he wants DAvid Wright and Cliff Lee
  5. Look at it this way. When we start to get some of these players back it will be like a trade deadline action. Just how long can the Sox keep up playing above .500 with 10 on the DL.
  6. According to Boston.com Josh Beckett just completed a two-inning simulated game at Fenway Park against hitters from the independent Brockton Rox. He threw 41 pitches and, according to Sox media relations chief Pam Ganley, felt fine. Beckett's next step will be to start a minor-league rehab assignment, probably on Tuesday. He'll need a few starts in the minors before he is activated off the disabled list. In other news: * Clay Buchholz threw off the mound for the first time since he was hurt on Saturday. He's going to throw a full side session in the next day or two and is on track to start against Tampa Bay on Monday. * Infielder Tug Hulett cleared waivers and was outrighted to Pawtucket, which cleared a spot on the 40-man roster.
  7. MDC is added to the walking wounded with a forearm strain, another 15 day stint on the DL and one less opening day starter that we had.
  8. Rivers says he is coming back.
  9. The new lineup: Scutaro SS Patterson LF Ortiz DH Youkilis 1B Beltre 3B Hall 2B Varitek C McDonald RF Cameron CF
  10. Eric Patterson is starting in left and Nava is sitting tonight's game out according to the Globe.
  11. This team is 16-6 this year when Varitek is in the lineup. Plus VMart is only supposed to miss 10 more games if everything heals right with all the off days and the All-Star Break.
  12. I think the only way Upton plays 100 percent all the time is that he plays with Justin Upton.
  13. When you go to Fenway Park are you really going to care if the seats are tight. When i go to Fenway it is a family feel. When i go to Fenway all I care about is the game. Who care about the Museum. I don't need to see fancy pictures and monuments to see the Sox History because as a Sox fan it is burned into our memories. I have been to 22 stadiums. Wrigley and Fenway have best feel for a game. With people being closer together it brings the people together. It may be a little uncomfortable for the Overweight but Fenway is Boston, Fenway is the Red Sox. Plus Yankee Stadium was falling apart.
  14. V-mart may not even need to hit the DL. SO if you put Tek at catcher for a few days while V-mart heals the sox should be fine. The fractured thumb is gonna be a problem mostly for hitting,
  15. Well you can't trade someone who is on the DL.
  16. Papelbon Dances around. What about Joba? DO you really wanna complain about that. About Jeter, he and Rivera and Posada are the only real Yankees. A-rod has no Class in my opinion. He has brought a lot of shame to the Yankees while he has been NY. Madonna, Slapping the ball away, screaming at the third baseman, running across the mound. He is really the no class Yankee that it is right now.
  17. Its all about the camera angles.
  18. The West isn't always that horrid. This year they have but in prior years they have teams in the 95 win range.
  19. Jacko-The Sox are 37-19 since April 20 — the best record in baseball.
  20. Look at the players Kobe played with Fisher, Horry, Shaq, Gasol, Artest. There are no one man shows in Basketball. Jordan had Pippen. Russell had Hondo. Bird had Mchale.
  21. Bill Russell was better. 11 as player two as a player coach. Jordan is better than Kobe hands down. But there were players better than Kobe and Lebron. Wilt, Magic, West, Russell and thats just to name a few.
  22. Well it was a great season. Made it way past the expectations and let this game slip away. Globe says that Sheed is contemplating retirement don't know if that is just the way this on ended but if he does it is too bad the Celts let this one slip. As for Allen i would love for him to stay next year especially if he take a healthy pay cut. Hope his agent is Scott Boras lol. A bench player or two and this team will have a good shot next year.
  23. Just heard this after watching highlights on Mlb.com "Red Sox are the first team to have three starters to 8 wins." Especially surprising since the Yankees had 4 with 5 pretty much after 35 games.
