    He is batting .290 for us this year and I don't care what he's done offensively for other teams... I care about what he's done offensively for the Red Sox

    His OBP is .303.... Not great but not awful.... Just be happy you have a great defensive player and he has been decent offensively for us this year! Have you not seen some of the awesome plays he's made at SS for us this year?

    Who cares about offense when someone is that good on defense? HE HAS A .290 BA for the sox this year, he does not stink offensively!

    I disagree...I think a .250 batter is acceptable as long as they are a good defensive player (Like Alex Gonzalez). A pitiful BA is .240. IMO
