Hell yeah! I really wanted Lee, but if the price was too high I'll gladly take Peavy. All I wanted was another SP who we could rely on down the stretch.

I don't know yet honestly. I'm not too confident in going with Dempster, Doubront, and Workman down the stretch. Too inconsistent and Workman too young. Now you give me a top 3 of Lester-Lee-Lackey, I feel alot better.

I'm tired of hearing the "Well we're not supposed to be here anyway blah blah blah." Well guess what, we are here. And when you get here, you should do everything in your power to live for the moment and go for it! Championships are rare. Any time you get a chance to win one you go for it! You do anything to try and avoid possible collapses. What happens if Buchholz's balls hurt again or Dempster's back acts up? Then people will bitch that the Sox shouldve made a move...

I think we're 1 starting pitcher away from being a true contender. As crazy as it sounds, I'm most confident in Lester and Lackey coming down the stretch. After that, I have no confidence in anyone. I have no confidence in Buchholz's "health", more like his balls. I have no confidence in Dempster or Doubront. Workman looks intriguing but he's young. If it takes trading JBJ for Lee, do it. At least it's not Xander. You gotta give something to get something..

I want this to happen pretty bad. I know some people cringe at the thought of trading JBJ, but hey if you asked me whether I would want to keep him or Xander, I'll keep Xander. A rotation of Lester, Buchholz, Lee, Lackey and either Dempster/Doubront/Workman would be awesome. And if Buchholz's return is unsuccessful then choose 2 from Doubront, Dempster and Workman for the 4th and 5th slots..
