    I don't think Hanley is much worse than what we've had at SS in the past. Green, Lugo, and Renteria aren't exactly gold-glove caliber. Of course there was Gonzo, but he hit the ball worse than Curt Schilling.

    He's making 3.5 this season, which is pretty much on par with: Girardi, Leyland, Torree, and Pinella

    He will be able to eat up some innings and save the bullpen for the stretch run.. Beckett/Lester/Dice/Wake/Byrd or Penny Is a nice rotation heading into the playoffs.
