The more I watch Penny pitch the more I have hallucinations of Roy in red. That first inning was absolutely brutal. Remember when the Sox actually tried to trade this guy? Oh how times have changed...

Wow, I didn't know it was this bad...you know there's something wrong with a player when Tito actually goes out and has something to say about him. I don't know if anyone has seen all the crap in Dice-BB's contract but it's ridiculous: And this guy is whining, coming into the club out of shape and unable to get a player out. Get this guy out of town along with his massage therapist.

Oh how that would be juicy...especially for my fantasy team. Adrian has absolutely no protection in that ugly lineup. Although with LaRoche in, it wouldn't be too wise to trade many assets for Adrian, however good he is.

Believe it or not it was actually a Twins fan who first threw that one out and then I thought "gee, why didn't I ever think of that?". Before that I used to call him Walkuzaka...I know not as good... What really gets me mad about the whole Dice-BB situation is just the ridiculous sum we payed to speak with him. That's superstar/ace money and the guy is barely a good enough 5th starter. It's sad, pathetic and laughable for any other team looking in. I actually take back what I said before- I don't know how many teams would take him on for much value. He just doesn't show any signs of being a good pitcher now. Buchholz' start last night, however rocky it might've been, was better than Dice-BB's...and that's pretty sad. At least he only walked 2, earned 2 runs and almost made it to 6 innings...

Oh it really doesn't matter. I've just lost all reasons to call him Dice-K. And plus, it makes him sound dominant...wouldn't want to fool some people.

Well isn't this just wonderful...Every once in a while Paps has to come out and blow it in an ugly fashion reminding us that he's human. On top of that, I really hate it when he gives players the free base. You can't K everyone out and eventually it catches up to you as such. Green made some really ugly decisions on those two throws and now it's a tie ballgame... We really could use the Yankee loss...we really could..

Boy, how this team can do without Dice-BB. I just really don't miss him at all. When he's been bad(this year), he just loads the bases and makes innings last an eternity lasting only 4/5 innings. When he's been good, he's still loaded the bases and walked the whole team but has had a horseshoe permitting him to get free without harm with the help of high run-support. I'm all for shopping him especially knowing that there's kids like Buchholz and Bowden waiting for full time positions. Forget talking about consistency, he just doesn't get through innings efficiently. On top of that, I'm sure there are some teams out there who would be willing to take the risk and big salary.

Yes, Ellsy is here. Umm...hi? Well, as you can see I'm one of the rare breeds in that I'm from Mtl(sorry Bs fans ...and yes, I am a hockey fan first and foremost but I love my baseball, believe me) and yet love 'em Sox.
