  1. Chase Utley gets the MVP
  2. does anyone have the Lineup for the AL? i missed the first part of the introduction.
  3. This is true, I in no way think he should choose the ASG or even a regular game over family but he isnt nearly the only one who dropped out...and sorry for the clutter that was my post, writing/grammar are not my strongest traits.
  4. i like it too but I dont like how many players drop out, i realize there are health issues and id much rather Pedroia skip the ASG and be healthy down the stretch than vice versa but the fans vote for who they want to see and only half of those voted in actually show up? its ridiculous i just wish they could somehow make ppl play, like i said i understand why they dont it just irks me, but aside from that i like to watch the best compete with the best its pure baseball and its fun and light hearted, its the HOFs playing little league basically.
  5. you are correct it was a joke i love wake but he is likely the least likely to get the MVP.
  6. 4-3 NL I think Pitching is going to own a bit more than some ppl think.
  7. SBGglobal.com has listed the American League All-Star team as -113 moneyline favorites over the National League (-107) with the over/under set at 9.5 runs dont know about ya'll but id take that bet for the NL.
  8. i still dont have the MLB network but i did watch the '99 Home Run Derby on ESPN the other day a few buckets of roids there too obviously with both the infamous Sosa and the even more infamous Mark "Big Mac" McGuire.
  9. i got another idea, they should give a # to everyone who votes for the Home Run Derby and put a coresponding number on every ball and the number on the ball that is hit for the winning HR in the final round wins some sort of prize i.e. free tickets to next years ASG and HRD or a signed bat from the winner or a cash prize, you get the idea.
  10. there it is Fielder takes it...at least i got that part right.
  11. holy s*** 503 feet, thats ridiculous, it should count as 2.
  12. ha that would be hilarious.
  13. Griffey is always nice to watch, he has the best swing, its absolutely perfect.
  14. yes i believe he can...
  15. id like to see them do a HR Derby for Pitchers only as well...Zambrono would win that one i believe maybe Owings.
  16. that screws me over too...but fielder still looks good.
  17. Fielder swings hard im suprised some of those werent even farther.
  18. 1st round Cruz hits 11 in the 1st round hell of a show by Cruz putting one into the 4th deck. Fielder matches Cruz with 11 including a 497 ft jack to CF. Poor Inge with a big ol 0 in the first round, didnt expect much anyways. Adrian "Gonzo" Gonzalez is unimpressive with 2. Carlos Pena belts out 5 to get it done. The Home Town Slugger Ryan Howard sends 7 over the fence to get ahead of Pena. Mauer ties with Pena at 5. Albert gets lucky on one and ties 5. Time for the Bat-Off. BAT OFF Pena:1 Mauer:0 Pujols:2 Round 2 Pujols is pretty much done but with a beautiful swing hits 6 bringing his total to 11. Howard lets out 8 late for a total of 15. Cruz hits 5 missiles into the stands for a total of 16. The Prince absolutely crushes 6 to make his total a leading 17. a 503ft jack on one of em by the way abolutely destroyed that ball. FINAL ROUND Cruz squeezes out 5 in the final round. is it enough? Fielder punches 6 of em WAY out to win it.
  19. that one in the 4th deck was killed...absolute bomb.
  20. my bad then ill keep the same picks with fielder hitting 7
