that or the Nick Green effect, he looks awesome now but he will probably slow down and by the time playoffs roll around he'll be back to being the glovey mcnoodlebat he has always been, but maybe Fenway is a good park for him, I dont know what type of "hitter" he is but even if he is a pull hitter his numbers will eventually fall back down into suckitude.

5K doesn't really help the MLB much, they are trying to do everything they can to make the games move along faster, and Paps takes forever so they are trying to make a stand but once again 5K is chump change to him too.

yeah, intense all-star players that havent been caught puping roids through an iv areruining the game , no teams like the pirates and the Padres are ruining the game if anyone is, champ.

yes, thats why I probably should have specified what I meant by "minimal damage" I meant 5 innings and 4-5 runs...not good but we have the ability to outscore them and our bullpen should hold up better than theirs.

well its also a good thing that the O's lineup isnt very potent so even Byrd should be able to handle getting through 5 innings with minimal damage...he got lit up in his last outing but the white sox lineup is far more respectable than the lineup this Os team has.

10-0 is a better football score...hopefully its 10-0 Boston, but either of these pitchers pitching a shut out would be a miracle.

People make fun but one day Dojji is going to call an extremely underated prospect and everyone will have to eat their fair share of crow, I really hope that day comes soon for you Dojji, as for the prospect in question he despite where he was playing is 19 YO alot can happen you never know.

I dont have a problem keeping him here if we cant find a better option in the off season, and I dont say this because of his bat since getting here, I say it because he can be a solid defensive SS witch is the most important thing for a SS IMO, now hopefully Lowrie can come back and impress so it wont be necessary for A-Gonz's bat to be a regular blemish on the lineup card.

not to mention we own Kotchman for a bit longer and is still young enough that he could start to develop a bit more power.

I dont think that LaRoche is as good as he has been playing, his bat is certainly more powerful than Kotchmans but the dude can be a K machine, which is not something I value too highly.

I already withdrew my comments regarding you as being a pessimist so you can drop that, and I am merely stating that on most of the GTs you have something to complain about regarding moves made by those of authority in the sox orginization, I am not criticizing you for not complementing their good moves I am criticizing your ability to constantly find a bad move even when their is seemingly none there, if someone was to read your GT posts and not watch the games they would believe you were talking about the Pirates orginizations (aside from the names of course.)

Im not trying to insult a700, I respect him and do enjoy the conversation he can bring it just seems to me that conversation always ends up being against whatever the management/ownership has done and I dont think that is fair.
