He hit .332/.403/.538 at 19 years old in Rookie ball, then hit .322/.390/.511 at 20 years old in Single A.

Right, he was getting ahead on the hitters. And the bases were loaded. If he was walking batters on 4 or 5 pitches then I'd take a few pitches but Ellsbury was probably sitting on a fastball and he got one, but it was in a good location.

I think it's a bit of an advantage right now because it allows us to give Lowell time off without having a backup 1B/3B in there.
