Pretty routine to see Mo get srikeouts on pitches well out of the zone. He's gotta get the most generous strike zone in all of baseball.

It was a hard hit ball, but right to Jeter. Mauer's gonna get a chance in the 9th, don't give up on this one yet. Mo's given up an earned run in 3 out of 6 of his inning+ appearances this year.
That's a huge base hit. That means Mauer will get another at bat. Reminds me of the good old days when you'd hope the Red Sox lineup could turn it over and get Ortiz up in the 9th.
HAHAHAHA
Nick Swisher has got to be one of the top 3 worst baserunners in baseball. I've seen him get thrown out trying to stretch a single to a double at least 4 times now and I only see about half the Yankees games.
Yeah, trying to win without good goaltending is like trying to win without good starting pitching. It's possible your that team plays well and steals the series but it makes things a lot more difficult.
Yeah, they've yet to beat the Yankees this year so they're due. You can't count them out, if they get a couple baserunners they'll get the M&M boys back up.
Burnett's looking shaky. He was helped out by Cuddyer half swinging on two straight balls in the dirt with the bases loaded and he's lucky that double my Mauer just got a piece of the wall and stayed in the yard. He's falling behind on a lot of guys and giving up a lot of hits.
Hopefully the Twins can capitalize.
Nothing pisses me off more than walking the leadoff hitter in a 2 run game. You've gotta MAKE the other team beat you by piecing together 2-4 hits. You can't give them a gift baserunner and allow them to win with one swing of the bat.
I'll take the win, but Papelbon's gotta cut that s*** out.
