    I'll never understand the huge contracts...and not just for baseball. Probably because I can't fathom how people can feel they need that much money. Give me 8-12 million and I'd be fine for life, how many yachts/mansions/porches does one need. Get a grip, c'mon. That said...yes, we need to sign Bay. I can't imagine that they wouldn't...the changing economy and wanting to wait to see how that pans out is still valid, if annoying. Doesn't bother me too much yet...Bay gets more time to show he's not a one-month wonder etc. and Boston gets more time to evaluate whether they think they "need" him, specifically, enough to warrant the giant contract he'll surely command.

    No sorry required...I misspell/do typos all the time. But was just curious if maybe there was a reason beyond...like, there's some names I'll regularly type wrong because family members have similar names. Stuff like that.

    I've been wondering for a while now...is there a reason for your consistent misspelling of Lowrie's name? Protest? Did he used to spell it differently? hehhe

    I'm happier than a clam in shoreline mud. Hubby came in right before Green came up.he said "close game" and sat down to watch the last half inning. Green comes up, "whack"...and hubby almost immediately gets up again, saying "that was quick." Ahaha...I love it. Thanks, Red Sox. That was awesome.
