  1. While I'm sure most of you know by now, Dennis "DJ" Johnson was elected to the Hall Of Fame a few days ago. I never thought this would happen given some of his domestic troubles. I'm glad it did even though he is not around to enjoy the Honor. I'm guessing that many members never got to see him play. That's a shame. He did not have gaudy stats. But he was a big time clutch scorer. No one ever worried if the ball was in his hands and the game was on the line. He always made the shot or the right pass. But his calling card was his lock-down D. He would always make an impact with his long arms quickness, and game IQ. I remember being awed by his athleticism when I saw him play for the Sonics at the old Garden. Easily one best athletes I ever saw.
  2. He looks like death warmed over too.
  3. Just a little before my time!
  4. I never saw any of the really old timers play. And I never saw much of the NL either. I always liked Louis Aparicio , Mark Belanger, Bert Campaneris, and Rico Petrocelli.
  5. Hahahahahahaha! Nothing has changed.
  6. By that, I assume, "members" (lol) try to prove who has the biggest junk. How true. "Well played Sir".
  7. Baseball is entertainment. Not an element required for homeostasis.
  8. That's cool. Just avoid the blue pills!
  9. f*** social sciences, you really have to peruse journalism at MSU. That is if they offer it.
  10. Still the most cost effective Japanese pitcher on the staff.
  11. I'm in awe of the left side infield defense. Go run prevention!
  12. I apologize profusely. Sorry for the confusion. I'm just glad my Mother was an English teacher. Otherwise, I'd have no vocabulary and use improper grammar. You know, like most of the internet?
  13. He was a scumbag RF for the Yankees. I don't recall all the specifics, but there were plays/games where he was the center of attention. Beer bottles were thrown on the field and Yankees hate ensued. Police had to get evolved, I think. Before that, no one ever shouted "Yankees Suck". Yankee games were just another game. a700 probably remembers more than I do. Prior to Rivers, Sox fans in the Boston area were just as/more concerned with other teams.
  14. Papi needs a milkshake or two. Joe West looks like he should be coaching the eagles.
