I don't thinks so. He has made plenty of anti-NY posts and comments in his articles. I think he has a pretty objective style. Which is interesting. He's a Bristol County (Ma) native from a working class family and attended UMASS. As well, I like him because he's not a pretty boy and he is in no way into self promotion.
It's funny. About a year ago a Yankees fan here (Y228?) said that Boston was about to get a really good baseball reporter in Abraham. I admit that I was skeptical, but since then, he has become part of my daily routine. I don't agree with everything he says, but always enjoy reading his stuff.
One other thing, while a lot of anti-Globe/Boston.com blowhards give him s***, he has never the less continued to interact with the Boston fan base every day.
There is a lot to like about him.
