Of course we all know Dirty Water (The Title refers to the polluted Charles river that runs behind B.U.) is about a horny young man trying to bed virgins at Boston University. Right? Lol! Not to mention it was penned and performed by a band from Santa Monica California (The Standells). Somehow Red Sox fans have become accustomed to singing "Sweet Caroline" by Neal Diamond. There is no doubt here. That is one of the worst songs he ever performed. Just ask him! How about Cherie Cherri (sp) or Kentucky Woman? Ha! As for the Drop Kicks, sorry, they sucked as a Boston bar band have done nothing since. Got to admire the Red Sox marketing crew, though!
