    I was reading an article on BDC about how this rivalry has waned. It needs an infusion of hostility and confrontation, it seems. Yeah, a lot of the rivalry stuff has quieted down since 2004, I guess. But for me, there is still plenty to hate about NY and the Yankees. It seems that the Jetter Splooge Fest has just ended and now we have to all join in and "Forgive 13". Not in my f***ing lifetime. Not from me , anyway. I'd love to see the Sox sign Dempster for a three day contract. Let him pitch an inning in each game when Purple Lips is due up. That would be great to see.

    Fred losing this series would indicate nothing. It is too early to draw any conclusions. But if they start say, 6 - 10 then maybe we can start to bitch and question the team. Even then it will still be very early in the season.
