    Yeah what he really needs to do is hit more balls with his bat and not his arms. He has been bad but I cut the kid some slack unlike that goldbricker Hanley of the Biceps.

    I don't think so either but we are told the playoffs are a crap shoot and anything can happen. We will see.

    I learned that the best team does not always win back when I was in high school. We had a basketball team that was ranked very high ( maybe top 6 or so ) going into the state tourney. Our team was f***ing stacked with two HS All Americans and a lot of primo athletes. We had beaten the top ranked team in the state at mid season and had an excellent record playing one of the most difficult schedules in eastern Mass. Low and behold in comes Dedham High from a weak ass league and they pound the s*** out of us in the first round. I have not expected this team to be great this season. And I don't see them going deep in the playoffs. But anything can happen in a short series. I would not bet against them if I were a betting man. I think this is Cleveland's year.

    Of course no one has answered my question regarding how many draft picks the Sox have over the next 3-4 seasons. How is it that those picks added to the current remains of our farm system can't possibly produce any MLB players or trade chips? Pretty f***ing stupid to assume they will all be total schlock especially if you have cried about losing so many farm pieces under Dombrowski. Somehow the math of the hand wringers does not add up. And really, worst case Ontario is the Sox become a door mat for a couple of years. I can live with a Sox team that looks like the A's for a while. That is because I love watching Sox baseball, even when the team sucks ass. I don't rely on WAR, UZR, or any other metric for enjoyment.

    Hahahahahahahaha!11!!1 I have no fear that he is a an airhead. I just see that he does not make all the plays all that well. Maybe some of it is that he does not know what to do. Maybe it's just he does not have good instincts. Maybe some of it is that he has a lousy arm. In any case, I do see a very talented athlete that I believe should get better at these things with more practice and game experience. Overall, it's just fun to piss off all the Sox sycophants who see him as an outstanding player already.

    No, not so much. But a world in which a Red sox fan can read posts on a Sox message board without frequent comparisons of Sox players with a Mariner's player. We have a Yankee sub forum here because the Yankees are always a hot topic and a historic adversary. The Mariners are not relevant to any discussion of the Sox on most days.

    I am not adverse to trying Travis at 1st next year. Everyone criticizes his D and is quick to point out that he has little power so his bat "won't play" at 1st. I see acceptable defense and a good hit tool. I'd much rather give him a shot and see how he does than spend huge money on some FA stiff. Or just bring back Moreland.

    He made another stellar throw to the plate today. It was fielded by Devers half way up the 3rd base line and 15 feet in foul territory. It was ultimately of no consequence since an A's runner tried unsuccessfully to get to third and was thrown out in a rundown. Benni need plenty of work.

    Yeah he was not good. I did learn a little about what pitches do from either arm but he was very awkward and he messed up several times. No biggy.

    Don't hold your breath on that one buddy. I, for one, don't give one s*** about what experts "forecast". It is all conjecture and serves little purpose unless you bet to make money.

    I can't prove love but I believe neurologists can show how "love" has certain affects on the brain.

    Except Scurry does not make his stuff personal and direct it towards just one person. I really enjoy scurry's stuff. It is very much like what we used to see back in 2009-2012 on Talksox.
