  1. Bard is simply lights out no matter when he takes the mound. He's just dominant. He allows me to relax when he steps on the mound. Thanks Dan.
  2. I'd be fine whichever way Tito decides to go. I'd almost rather see Miller pitch Thursday then I'd get to see Lester pitch on Saturday at Fenway. Never had the opportunity to see him pitch in person before.
  3. Right now, the starters against the Yankees would be Lackey, Beckett, and Miller. I know there was speculation of sliding Lester in on Thursday since he would be on normal rest due to the off day Monday. Any word on this?
  4. Completely different lineup with Ellsbury back and Gonzo swinging the bat well again (at least for the night). Can't wait to see a healthy Youk and Ortiz back in there as well. The s***** lineups the past week or so really make you appreciate what we have 1-5 when they're all healthy.
  5. This is torture sitting and watching Little League hitter after Little League hitter step to the plate. I knew the offense would be bad without those 3, but this bad?!
  6. Probably going to be tough going until Ellsbury, Ortiz, and Youk return. This lineup is hideous without them. Hope Bedahd brought his A game if he hopes to get his first win as a member of the Sox.
  7. There's the 92 mph cheese. Keep it, Bedahd.
  8. Against teams .500 or below, the Yankees are 41-17, good for a .707 win percentage. In comparison, the Red Sox are 36-22, good for a .621 percentage. So the difference is noticeable, but not enormous. Unfortunately, the Yankees have the A's and Orioles over their next 8 games. They're a combined 14-2 against them.
  9. I'm almost certain the stats would show that. The Yankees absolutely destroy the likes of the Orioles, Royals, Twins, etc. They simply rarely lose to them. Now, their record against us is a different story
  10. I know but it's not just today. Almost every outing his pitch count is high early and often. He has good enough stuff to pound the strike zone. He needs to do it.
  11. Lester needs to find a way to get his pitch counts under control. It's part of taking that next step in becoming a dominant pitcher.
  12. I've been saying this all year. Nobody gets in more 0-2 counts in baseball than CC.
  13. Worst inning of the year? Wow, I'm shocked.
  14. It looked like Gonzo was going to run away with it, but he's just been average after the ASB. Ellsbury has been lights out all year. That combination of average, power, and speed in the lead off spot is invaluable.
  15. We have become addicted to falling behind early these past few weeks. Man, it makes it a lot tougher to win games playing from behind constantly.
  16. Wow, I didn't get to see the game last night so that was my first look at it. That is an unbelievably bad call. It's been a rough week for umpires during Sox games (umps were awful pretty much throughout the Yankees series too).
  17. f*** YES! LOVE IT! STILL CAN'T TAKE A SERIES FROM OUR BOYS.
  18. Was that honestly just called a f***ing strike on Reddick? Holy s***.
  19. Wow, this is the most questionable strike zone I've seen in a while.
  20. So when should we expect to see Bedard for the first time?
  21. All I can say is.... LOL RANDY WILLIAMS
