    In my opinion, it's not a good idea, since closing is different than regular relief. Now, if they have had setup experience, that's a different story. I'd personally judge against it.

    I agree, I don't think Dojji is going the extra mile and making this a Red Sox vs. Yankees thing. I think he's just saying that Francona would be not treated the same way that Torre was. Dojji didn't say anything about the reputation of the entire organisation's treatment of other players, so there's no reason to bring this out of proportion.

    We'll figure out the rules later. I'm sure sending a link would be adequate, since we can all google search to find the pictures anyway, so don't count yourself out yet. Anyway, we shouldn't get too sidetracked with that draft just yet. I believe it's still WhiskeyBreath's turn, although I think Flynnatic can step in and make his pick at this point.

    I already have my first few round picks.

    I was thinking that we should do a similar fantasy draft, just instead of baseball players, we should do female celebrities that we want to sleep with the most. In the end, we'd have everyone vote on who had the hottest list. We'd include random rounds like the black round, Hispanic round, over 40 round, barely legal round etc. You know that nobody would withdraw from that draft.

    Maybe I should pull a Jacko and say that the Yankees offense is crap and only did well today because Price was horrible and left everything all over the plate.

    I was thinking more like the hamstring/calf injury James Loney had the other day where he couldn't move after his swing. Yadier Molina had to hold him up so he didn't fall over.

    I agree with you that the injuries will take their toll on the offense. That's obvious, and I'm not sure who would challenge that. However, the Sox offense faced more good pitchers than Cliff Lee. In addition, when the Sox offense does succeed, it isn't always because the pitcher they faced was bad, hurt, sick, or whatever. You have to give credit to the Sox offense where it's due.

    It's also ignorant to expect a hell of a lot from such an injury stricken lineup. The Sox lineup is without Pedroia, Vmart, Ellsbury, Hermida, and Drew has sat out a couple of the games. Also, in addition to Lee, the Sox offense has faced Hunter and Wilson. Tommy Hunter had flashes of brilliance last season, and is 6-0 with a 2.39 ERA, and if the score holds, CJ Wilson will be 8-5 with a 3.23 ERA. Cliff Lee wasn't the only good pitcher they faced in the series.

    I'm just glad that the Yankee offense is roughing up Price, regardless of who wins the game.

    In all fairness, it looks like the Pettitte injury may have put him out of his misery today. He looked like he had nothing going for him this afternoon.

    I think we should at least put in the best available players to fill out his starting lineup and rotation, since that's about where everyone is in their drafts right now. He probably only needs a few picks to finish that, and he has 4 picks in hand at this point. I think we should at least fill in his lineup and rotation now (or in the near future) and then let the rest of the draft occur before filling out his bench players.
