That's incorrect. He was only given $12.5MM guaranteed. They protected themselves with certain language in his contract.

I don't like the selection either but who knows, it might end up being a good one. Thee problem I had with drafting Bryant is that we could have had a better receiver for a lower round pick. (Marshall) It was clear that BB wanted nothing to do with either problematic receiver based on how he passed on both. I just read on boston.com that Kindle suffers from narcolepsy, that's something to keep in mind. What are your thoughts on Golden Tate?

Why draft Bryant with a 1st rounder when you could have given up one of your multiple 2nd rounders for Marshall, who is the better receiver.
