    It was between him and Kreutz. Faine tore his quad a couple weeks ago so I figured everyone would hold that against me.

    Agreed. Yardage totals are useless. Teams can give up a big portion of yardage in garbage time when playing prevent defenses and the other team just constantly throwing. Another important thing most people aren't thinking about is last year the Pats were terrible late in the game. They were easy to defend because teams knew they were just going to try to hit Moss deep for a TD when they were trying to comeback in late situations.

    Yeah, it might be early but boston is looking for versatile defense and that is exactly what he got. Jeffries is a very good defensive player who is undervalued by many.

    Stern doesn't hate the C's. They are an original franchise and they play in a huge market. I'm not the biggest Davis fan but they guy sure does get it done down low considering his lack of height.
