I'm fine with Kessel leaving Boston. The kid obviously didn't want to be here so it's best we moved on. I would have rather they received players that could help the club this year instead of the picks though.
For those who think the organization somehow mismanaged contracts and found themselves without enough money to retain Kessel, think again. They never planned on signing him long term.
I liked his speed and quick release but that's about it. He soft, doesn't play D and from what I've heard, he doesn't have a good work ethic. I was also fed up with his only move when skating into the offensive zone that was poke checked away by a D man a million times during his time here.
