    If Bard goes to the bullpen, it should be for one inning stints ala Paps than multiple innings. If he had pitched on Thursday or Saturday, no way would he pitch 3 on Sunday.

    The Punto sparkplug only works once every 5 games I guess. We'll see if Youk's bat looks better. Right now, he's reminding me of the ST Gary Gaetti was with the Sox. Nice slow pitch softball swing. Or maybe he's trying to take over for JD with the called 3rd strikes? Either way, I hope he shows a pulse today.

    Wasn't that the point you were trying to make? They have similar stats so they must be equally good, right? If I don't agree, it's not because numbers are hard. If that's the argument you want to resort to, go for it. I couldn't care less. I think he's a fine middle of the rotation pitcher. Nothing overly special though. When his numbers come back Earth this year, I won't be surprised.
