Some people relish when the Sox are doing poorly. When thr Sox do well, those same people enjoy being wet blankets. Yes, it's a cupcake schedule right now. However, the Sox haven't always taken care of business against weaker teams in the past.

Considering how long it takes him to warm up, putting DiceK in the pen would be useless.

Can they send him to Pawtucket without putting him on the DL? I believe he's out of options.

I'm pulling for DiceK because he's better than Padilla and Cook. I also believe Bard will be in the pen in August to limit innings and Buchholz may be headed to the DL/pen eventually. The Sox need 6-7 SP's due to injuries/ineffectiveness. DiceK could be an upgrade for this poor performing staff.
