Right, one of the first things people think of when they think of going to Boston is "Oo, maybe I could go see Fenway Park!" Probably the most famous Boston landmark of all. YS doesn't really have that level of emphasis. It's just a fact.

There's some cherry-picking going on here. We didn't do too well in an elimination game in the 2005 ALDS after all and people are sort of selectively remembering around it. Still, our record in elimination games during the Francona administration is incredible.

He got Boston both of their modern rings. How many of those managers have two rings? How many have one? THat's not to say Tito isn't lucky to have a great staff around him but we've all seen that not be enough (2003 anyone?) and Tito knows how to get the last mile out of people -- he showed it last night in spades.
