  1. I'm gonna love this kid.
  2. Nice going, Josh.
  3. Awful, awful performance in that inning. that's what happens when you walk the #9 hitter.
  4. For goodness sake, Buck, do you think you could maybe throw two consecutive strikes without getting killed??
  5. Theo, you BETTER be right about this guy in the long run!!!!
  6. Someone needs to be warming now.
  7. *begins chanting* He's young, he'll improve... He's young, he'll improve... He's young, he'll improve...
  8. Nice range, Mike. Jed saves a run.
  9. You walked the #9 hitter, Buck. whatever you get in this inning, you deserve it.
  10. 3 games, 3 XBH.
  11. good discipline for Lowrie. He must be anxious to get his AVG up, looks good on him that he can take a walk.
  12. I have to admit, sending Reddick down to pick up a waiver claim type now seems...
  13. Whatever. Not worth arguing about.
  14. The only time I made up a trade package for Teahen, I had him going to Boston for Felix Doubront.
  15. I suppose. One would think it pretty obvious however that when a guy, even one known for a bit of occasional lunacy, wants to trade the entire roster of a contending team for one player there's a little hyperbole going on. Ahh well.
  16. I dunno, for a 5th outfielder we could have benefitted fron a speedy glovy mcnoodlebat. We really can't rely on Baldelli to do it all himself and I don' want Reddick on the bench long term. As long as he went back to hitting at his 2007 level he would have been able to stick here.
  17. Or, like Coco, tanked when put IN the 1 spot. And Lugo for that matter.
  18. That's funny, I would never have thought of putting you in the "doesn't get it" category. I thought you were just BSing with me because you got it and you wanted to be funny about it. I really don't think that what I was saying is at all difficult to understand.
  19. Seattle is not going to be as interested in Clay as they would be an equivalent player with no MLB experience. They want top pitching prospects with full cost controls, not just as much talent as possible.
  20. No I don't think so. Bard is good, but Papelbon is just as good and far more experienced. If we still have Bard when we lose control of Papelbon, and paps wants too much money, then Bard should close. Until then we should be glad to have both of them in our pen
