Seriously, I get what you're saying, and you picked two good players because both Tek and Youkilis have a reputation for being smart, not just talented, but you have to have the ability to go with the training. Like in Youkilis' case, you need to have the eye and mental composure to take close pitches before working with him is going to be better than working with a generic hitting coach.
I'm sure Federowicz is already doing everything he can on the training front. It'll come down to his ability.
