  1. What a cranky board we have here. I don't like the Packers, similar to the way much of us Red Sox fans dislike the Yankees and call them names, for fun. Ringing any bells? For the record, it doesn't really bother me how you, a bunch of old pricks I don't even know and whose opinions I certainly don't value, interpret my posts. Another board I post on praises me for my contributions, because I actually try there. This place is just s*** for my spare time, since we don't have a strong baseball section there. I'll tell you what I told a700hitter though, keep saying s***. Its meaningless.
  2. The Panthers have had essentially the same team the past two seasons and didn't do a thing (granted Delhomme was injured last year). The Saints have a fantastic offense, but their defense is flat out not good. Almost any NFL offense will walk all over them. That team didn't have a running back, and had a s***** offensive line. This year's line is young, tough, and really good, and Earnest Graham (combined with Warrick Dunn) is a far more capable running back than Michael Pittman. Those two things, running game and blocking, will make Griese a better player. Griese's good enough to win, he's not Peyton Manning.
  3. fail.
  4. I'm happy to be wrong.
  5. Well, I'm also predicting an Angels sweep. Take that however you want.
  6. Or whoever the Angels would run out there. The point is, their rotation is deep.
  7. I'm not liking that matchup. Denver's got a nasty aerial assault, with Cutler throwing to Marshall, Royal, and Jackson (and Scheffler if you want to count TEs). Our secondary is more suited to tough, physical teams like Chicago than aggressive teams like Denver. Ronde's age just scares me now. All aging cornerbacks scare me.
  8. Its a s***** week for me, college wise. Tons of stuff due, exam on Friday. Don't think I'll be seeing either of the first 2 games.
  9. Nice avatar. LOL that's good s***.
  10. Not a good matchup for my Bucs though...
  11. 4 best teams in the NFC. Its debatable. The Giants are shocking me more than anyone. They lost both starting DEs from last year (DEs are essential to their defensive scheme), two good linebackers, a nasty safety, and they're a better team this year than they were last year. Eli's tearing s*** up. The Giants are the one team I've really misjudged thus far.
  12. Bucs are 3-1. Probably should be 4-0, but Matt McCoy f***ed us pretty good in the New Orleans game (no Quincy Black, no Geno Hayes, Matt Muthaf***in McCoy; thanks Gruden!). Denver's gonna be a pain in the ass though.
  13. I don't have an issue with a thing Manny said in the article, and I'm happy he likes L.A.
  14. Sox will be fine w/o him. I'll live.
  15. Wasn't he tending to a personal matter in the DC? What's with all the hate then? Did I miss something?
  16. Well with Erin Andrews and Bonnie Bernstein being around on a daily basis, can't blame someone for finally snapping.
